He kept the Otter well fed with fish and in trade the Otter kept him warm when venturing away from his hearth-fire. History; Brother Noah, hails from a distant land from across the sea. He was born in a monastery and from a young age studied the philosophy of Quilism. Quilism is based on the idea of finding inner peace and tranquility in a chaotic and unpredictable world through meditation, exploration, and self improvement. Once Noah became of age he chose to dedicate his life to study and became a monk of Quilism. He traveled to distant lands in search of new experiences and offer the teaching of Quilism to any who seek its wisdom. He built a monastery high on a mountaintop in a place called Murder Murder Snow, a region known for its harsh cold weather. His door was always open to the people of the land. If anyone found themselves caught out in the cold, they were free to enter and take a seat by the warm fire. There was plenty of food in the preserving bin and books to read while they waited out the cold. Although life was good, he grew restless and it soon became time to move on. He hitched a ride with some sailors who carried him across the seas until he came upon this new land, a place he felt he was needed. |
