 The Basics; Your Username: Rolana Kryze Character Name: Rolana Kryze Date Of Birth: Unknown Assigned Gender: Female Identifies as: Female Preferred Pronouns: Feminine Age: Unknown(Appears to be around 30 standard years of age) Sexuality: Heterosexual Appearance; Height: 6 ft Weight: 130 lbs Body Type: athletic, curvy Skills; Rolana Kryze was raised in a culture of knightly crusaders and thus is skilled in wearing heavy armor and employing a variety of weaponry, however, Rolana's passion is in building military bases and ships of various sizes to fill a variety of roles. In Rolana's homeland, warships and basic shelter were needed to preserve her people and were constructed by dozens and perhaps hundreds of people. In this new land, however, the scale is set so that Rolana may work more independently. Because of this sense of independence and because she is not required to interact with outsiders on the regular, Rolana lacks people skills but makes up for it by being well spoken and achieves this by reading and writing literature when she has a spare moment. Pros And Cons; PRO[+] Soft Spoken Though she she does not often speak to outsiders, others have noted that Rolana can be rather well spoken.(I'd rather not elaborate on this further.) PRO[+] Skilled Rolana is considered "talented" by those whom she has served in the past. Examples of this can include Rolana's work in building structures such as ships and military bases as well as a variety of other fields that I will not go into detail. PRO[+] Loyal Rolana is slow to trust, but once that trust is earned, she is fiercely loyal to those she considers an ally or friend. However, her loyalty is not regulated to people but also to principles which she holds to a higher standard. Meaning, if she sees a friend committing a heinous act, she will question it rather than follow blindly. CON[-] Secretive Rolana desperately tries to keep to herself and not let many know of her problems or her own history which is a mystery to most. CON[-] Stubborn Rolana can sometimes be known to not let go of certain issues and has a very selective memory. When she begins a project, she will likely see it through to the end and endure many sleepless nights in order to ensure success. CON[-] Vengeful Rolana will be the first to tell you that vendettas, in general, tend to not end well for those who pursue them, but does not exactly heed her own warning. Pet; One day, as Rolana was working on some project or the other, she discovered a newly born otter cub abandoned on the shore with no sign of a mother in sight. The cub's fur was black and white and couldn't have been more than a week old. With no sign of the mother ever coming back, Rolana took the cub inside and gently attempted to feed the infant creature throughout the night but to no avail. The tiny creature passed away silently in the night in the arms of someone who knew nothing about them but deeply cared for them regardless. A week or so passed and yet another black and white otter cub approached the builder but this one was slightly older and heavily injured. Someone obviously did not want him to survive. His back legs had obviously been broken before although incorrectly and out of place. Seeing this as a second chance, the former crusader took this young otter in and fed him and gave him shelter from the elements. Now, a small black and white otter can be seen playing and running between the massive support beams of incomplete ships in the kingdom's dry docks while his armored friend works in silence.(Based on true events..) History; Rolana's history is somewhat of a mystery to most, though a few details are certain. Rolana was once, or possibly still is, a part of a large and proud order of knights and paladins who's culture was formed out of a constant war for survival against what seemed like an unbeatable enemy. Rolana claims that her mother was a part of this knightly order and found her abandoned in the ruins of a pillaged colony on a foreign land and took her as her own. She taught Rolana everything she knew about fighting and self defense but her passion for building sprung from watching her people build mighty constructs meant to protect and defend them, such as fleets of warships and towering fortresses. The fate of this knightly order and Rolana's mother is unknown to all but her and she is not likely to share her secrets with many... |
