Ambrose grew up on a naval vessel, raised by his father Edward Locane. His father was a well known and respected hunter, trapper, breeder, and often dabbled in blacksmith work during downtime traversing the seas. Ambrose shadowed his father soaking in all the knowledge he could. When his father fell ill he knew he would soon have to take over the family business. After his father passed away, Ambrose carried on working through the grief but always felt something was missing from his life. He often found himself craving roots, his trade led him on a nomadic lifestyle, always moving and always on the go. He'd never known the love of a woman, never fathered any children. After years of carrying on the family business Ambrose caught wind of old forgotten, but fruitful lands where he could set up a base of operations and potentially settle down, he turned the mast west, and set sail.
