Xaverius, as a result of that, tries his best to treat all with equality and fairness, making sure everybody has opportunities in his kingdom to make a life for themselves.

Xaverius was a prince in Kalfar before he formed the revolution, he is young and hasn't undergone much training for kinghood.

As such, upon leaving that kingdom and becoming a king in this new land, his lack of experience in this field may result in him making some poor choices.

In Kalfar, racism was prevalent and rampant everywhere. If you aren't human, you'd be forced into poverty and treated like dirt.

Racism strikes a serious nerve in Xaverius, causing him to get a lot more emotional than normal.

Due to so few getting what they need for their livelihood in Kalfar, he'll often jump at helping members within his kingdom if they need support.

This might seem good at first to some, but he often doesn't think of the repercussions until it's already said and done.

On top of that, he often will jump at opportunities to talk to a particular character within his kingdom who he's smitten with, potentially causing him to become distracted.

History;

Xaverius Alistair was a prince in a very corrupt kingdom called Kalfar. This kingdom's corruption heavily involved racism, treating nonhuman races like freaks or garbage, effectively enslaving them into poverty.

For a long time, Xaverius would frequently visit a tavern ran by a Fawn girl named Cassandra which he started to really enjoy talking to and hanging out with, as well as an Elf named Arryn who frequented dressing in fancy dresses and gowns. They would tease Xaverius and joke around, treating him completely normally despite his status, and despite who his father is. He really enjoyed this variety over the normal interactions he dealt with, so he grew very attached to the two of them. Since they are both nonhuman however, they were subject to the same corruption of the kingdom, so their lives were very hard. So he made sure they felt as happy as he could make them.

Eventually, the king decided he was not going to tolerate these meetings with nonhuman races, and eventually issued a purging event to kill all of the nonhuman races from the kingdom. Cassandra almost went straight to the king herself, surely only to meet her doom, so Xaverius talked her out of it and went to try and talk sense into the king himself. Unwilling to change at all, Xaverius became furious, and stormed out of the throne room straight to Cassandra's tavern. He came to them angrily grumbling to them that the best option would be to leave the kingdom, find new land and create their own kingdom in which Xaverius would be the king of, a good king who treats his citizens equally.

They went to the docks at night to leave in a sneaky way, making sure few knew their plans. Wandering around the docks that night was a bat boy, who introduced himself to Xaverius as Sten'Ma. Sten'Ma claimed to be a very skilled, proud blacksmith, which Xaverius realized would be very good to have in his own kingdom, and offered him a place in his new kingdom as their blacksmith. Sten'Ma eventually agreed, due to seemingly viewing that as a great way to show his talent in the art of blacksmithing.

The four of them finally left by boat, finding new land in which they would form the new kingdom. Xaverius inspired several others that were visiting that land to join his kingdom as he started to form it, convincing some to follow him as their king.
